The Ghetto Shul is entering into a new and exciting phase: we are now an entirely student-led community. Our membership system is changing to a work-share model to reflect our new identity and to ensure our viability as a community. Being a member does not just mean “buying in” so that your costs are covered. It means taking on a commitment to be an active participant in the Ghetto Shul community.

I, ____________________________________, hereby agree to become a Ghetto Shul member for the 2012-2013 school year.
I will be an active member, concerning myself and developing the spiritual, physical and social aspects of the community. For this purpose, I will attend a bi-weekly Ghetto Shul gathering, at which delicious food will be served and communal decisions will be made.

Our first gathering will be held on Tuesday October 16th at 6:30 PM at 3515 Durocher (apt 63)

I understand that I will be called upon occasionally to help with logistical tasks, and to help prepare, serve for, or clean up after meals.
I also commit to providing the following service to the Ghetto Shul community on a regular basis, totaling 18 hours or more per semester:
